A driver has crashed their automobile into the window of a Sainsbury’s grocery store in Derby.
The pink Audi hit the shop in Osmaston Park in Allenton at round 10pm on Saturday and ended up within the pet meals aisle of the shop.
Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit tweeted concerning the incident, saying: “In-store cleaner required within the pet meals aisle please.”
The unit confirmed an investigation into the incident was “ongoing”, and preliminary CCTV of the crash “exhibits a poor commonplace of driving” within the automobile park.
It additionally confirmed that there have been no accidents, “however tons and many injury”.
The crash left merchandise and shelving strewn throughout the store flooring.
